Mary Carol Fall Open House Part III

You all have been so generous in your kind remarks about Mary Carol's Fall Open House. If you've missed the earlier posts you go can go here for Part I and here for Part II, you won't be disappointed.

I have to share what Chari of Happy to Design said: Ohhh...I have sooo enjoyed this tour of Nell Hill's home! Everything really is gorgeous! Don't you just love that white table between the two chairs on the sun porch? Love the tall scroll piece on the front! I really do love everything that she does. You know, I think that you and Nell Hill have the same design style! As I was looking through the photos of her home, it reminded me so much of your beautiful home, Lynne! And...you are every bit the designer that Nell Hill is...for sure!!! Thanks again, sweet friend...sure got some great decorating ideas from the tour!
Hope that you and Bill are having a super sweet Sunday, Darlin'!
Love ya,
Chari
Her comment touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. This is just one out of all your beautiful compliments, you all rock my world each day with your kind words!!!

Now.. are you ready for some shopping? Both Garrity's and Nell Hill's were full to over flowing with Fall, Halloween and Christmas decor. My girlfriend and I left with our heads spinning full of ideas. Except for a few little inserts on my part I'll let the pictures do the talking. :-))

My girlfriend and I both practiced self control, we want want of these. ;-)

Loved this.

Close up of the curly ribbon, it should hit my shop one day this week. ;-))

Again, I practiced self control. You all know how I adore snowmen, or in this case snow woman.

Our tour is quickly coming to a close. I have one more post to share with you from this great day. I hope you've enjoyed viewing Mary Carol's home and her shops. If you're like me it's left your head spinning full of ideas. I just got word from a sales rep today my Christmas things will be rolling in here this week. I cannot wait to starting playing with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to rush the seasons, I love fall and all the magical colors that appear, when you're in retail sales you have to always be thinking ahead, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-))

Hi Girlfriend...

It's late but I can't sleep...so guess what I'm doing? Yep...you're right...blog visiting! Hehe! Girlfriend, I truly meant all that I said...you made me cry! Tears of joy! I really have enjoyed these awesome tours of Nell Hill's! Thank you, again! Ohhh my gosh, I'm pretty positive that my pocketbook would have been empty by the time I left her shop! Hehe! Ohhh...I love the frenchy gray wire birdcage...isn't it fabulous? Ohhh...and I just squealed with delight when I seen her all white and silver Christmas display...that is just soooo gorgeous! One last thing...got a great idea from the large hurricane with the silver base...it was filled with the little cut pieces of wood...that would be so easy to do and I love how it looked! Sooo many beautiful things! I certainly can see why your head was just spinning! Hehe!

Love ya, sweet friend!

That was amazing! What an array of goodies. I an trying not to buy anything new this year, I have too much. I want to start going through it and donate what I no longer use to a charity thrift shop, so others can enjoy it.
Of course, I know I will buy at least one new thing, there is always something new out there!
Thanks for taking us shopping!

Lynne, I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts. I have not been able to visit her open houses or her stores. I do have one of her books which I enjoy so much. Your posts encourage me to take the time to visit. I'd love to visit your shop, also. You have a great sense of style also. Thank you for sharing, Pam
